University of Wisconsin-Madison
Our fourth general member meeting will be Monday, December 9th @ 7pm!
For our last speaker of the semester, we have Bob Sorge, President of Madison Community Foundation (MCF)! An alum of UW, he received his Bachelors in Communication Arts and MBA here! At MCF, he has enhanced charitable giving opportunities for donors and grown MCF's assets from $130 million to more than $250 million! Before that, he was the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra for 15 years. He is an incredibly accomplished person whose perspective will be very intriguing to hear!
UW Rotaract’s members have access to a formidable worldwide network of leaders in every professional field who can serve as mentors and contribute to our professional development.
Our Club will provide opportunities that build lasting friendships, but also instill leadership, teamwork, motivation, and practical skills in our members.
In the spirit of good citizenship, we will benefit our community and the world through volunteer activities and philanthropic events.
Our events vary, including general member meetings, intriguing speakers from experts in an array of professional fields, volunteering events and fundraising activities. These diverse activities relate to a complete spectrum of majors and interests.
Following suite with the shining example Rotary clubs have laid before us, Rotaract UW-Madison is committed to working with the community to provide service where it is most needed.
